The aim of the Financial Services Act (FinSA) and its implementing ordinance, both of which came into force on 1 January 2020, is to protect the clients of financial services providers and foster comparable terms of business among the financial services offered by various providers. This legislation thereby aims to strengthen the reputation and competitiveness of Switzerland as a global financial hub.
It also sets forth the requirements for the fair, timely and transparent provision of financial services and regulates the distribution of financial instruments.
Information on the Financial Services Act, specifically concerning Banque Bonhôte & Cie SA, can be found in the following brochure, which can be downloaded in PDF format by clicking here below.
A basic factsheet is also made available to wealth management clients – where provided by the product issuer – for each personal recommendation of a financial instrument, or for execution-only services. This document contains information on product features, risks and the associated fees. Existing factsheets can be consulted using the link in our FinSA brochure (see Chapter III let. c, point 4).
